Notes/Comments:   A very small number of prototype plates were made of the "Lt. Worf" and "Counselor Troi" plates in this series. No photos of these two plates are currently available. The third plate on this page shows a "Data" black and white prototype plate before color was applied to the artwork. The Captain Picard plate with the plum colored uniform is a prototype made before the final decision on red as the production color. Only a small number of plum prototype examples of this plate were ever made, and very few still exist today.
