Notes/Comments:   This is a pair of ERROR plates from the Original Series and Next Generation mini-plate series. The backside printing was accidentally switched between the two plates. The Enterprise NCC-1701 front artwork has the Enterprise NCC-1701-D information printed on the back. The Enterprise NCC-1701-D front artwork has the Enterprise NCC-1701 information printed on the back. This is a clear example of similar subjects receiving the opposite information from what they should have. A double set of switched backside printing is rare. These plates should never have been produced or shipped.
