Notes/Comments:   The character mini-plates in this series uses the same Todd Treadway artwork as the Enesco full size plate series. The first Enterprise mini-plate uses Keith Birdsong artwork from The Hamilton Collection - Star Trek - The Voyagers  plate series, however, the back of the mini-plate is printed in error. The artist is shown as Todd Treadway, but the artwork was actually done by Keith Birdsong. The last mini-plate on this page uses USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D artwork from Todd Treadway. This artwork is the same as the Enesco full size plate series and this mini-plate appears to be a prototype which was never released to production. The part number hand written on the paper tag is 109088. This is the same part number that was assigned to the production Enesco Enterprise NCC-1701-D mini-plate which was produced for the Star Trek - The Next Generation Mini-Plate Collection. This re-assignment of a part number further strengthens the probability that this is an unreleased prototype. Only a small number of prototype examples of this mini-plate would have been made, and very few still exist today.
